Meet Kate. She’s 16 years old, enjoys anime and is almost at an even 10 inches tall. In the city of New York she was a “manrat” raised as part of a human family since she was a baby, soon will discover she was one of many tribes of people exactly like her.
Another “test pilot art” seeing how people feel about it. Started quietly developing this idea in January as a back up plan for something else, the inspirational basis of the idea was doing a “small society” story. There happens to be plenty of those stories set a city or New York but I kinda started penning down a mythology to it - beyond just thinking “oh this is Thumbelina in the Bronx, simple as that.”
