Modern Day Rincewind looks a lot younger than book Rincewind to me, like late teens to early twenties.

The modern day version of a wizard (Rincewind himself) was done in the Color of Magic - he's suddenly on a jet with
Twoflower for a few minutes. Twoflower's a tourist in a loud Hawaiian shirt (of course) and Rincewind (or Doctor Rjinswaand, PhD) is a nuclear engineer specializing in fission breeder reactors.

I didn't mean to be cruel, it was just a joke. I have nothing against the French - actually, part of my family is French, and they are really amazing people.
Sorry if it offended you - it was definately not my intention.

Well, I don't know what to tell you then. It was just a little joke, it didn't mean anything. I like the French, I think parkour is cool and I thought it was funny to describe it as the martial art of running away. That's all.

I think you got the essence of Rincewind, though. Definitely recognizable!
