The character is prevalent in Thai mythology and south East Asian mythology in general. Her mother was the legendary mermaid princess who charms Hanuman and assists him for a time on his odyssey.

My “Magic” Touch: I’m not allowed into aquariums because I have a knack for translating for sea creatures. FYI dolphins have some pretty FOUL language, friend.

As a front runner of Ever After Highs’ swim team, she is most often seen hanging around with her mermaid posse. She’s got a fiery and fiercely competitive attitude and outlook on life and some have described her as kind of intimidating. She specializes in speed and evasive swimming and is a self admitted attention hog who enjoys doing tricks under and out of water. She is very proud of her parents, often cracking jokes about how they met and fell in love.
“My mom threw rocks at my dad while confessing her love. It’s romantic.”
While she hails from the sea, she despises seaweed and kelp because her mom force fed it to her as a child. As of late,her mom has been on a strange algae-only diet and it’s driving her insane.
