After Elsa was clownified, shejokingly shot some of her ice at her sister. But, the clownification made her magic turn people hit by it into clowns. And that's how Elsa doomed Anna for the third time. First, she almost killed her. Then, she almost killed her again. Then, she turned her into a clown causing who she was to be no more, effectively killing the old Anna and making th new Clown Anna.

Well, if they're all happy and chipper all the time, that's not the same as before. And if they are now permanently happy, that will slowly change their personality too, as their reactions to things will be different do to always being happy.

well, anna was already always happy all the time! so nothing really changes there (plus, i doubt that being a clown changes your personality completely! to me, i think of it as a different personality that they randomly switch from time to time. like, let's say: elsa is having fun with anna. then her (and anna's) change into their clown personas and start acting more happy! but then when they stop having fun, they change back to how they were before.)
