Temperatures today are expected to peak 110 degrees, with dust storms likely. The clouds looming overhead give a false impression - there isn't going to be any rain today. The lightning is all too abundant, however. Travellers can seek refuge in the small church next to the lake, but remember - don't drink the water.

This was one tedious son of a bitch to make. Render was 4800x3600 and took about 7 hours to create/render in Terragen. The postwork was insane too - the original clouds were a little bland, so I found some stock pics of clouds and went to work in Photoshop. My clone stamp tool/healing brush sure got workouts on this one. Total time in Photoshop was well over 12 hours.
