au contraire, NaruSaku does not depend on the parallels, you're right they are fanservice to us and we love it because having them is a bonus for us. Now that the Kushina/Sakura parallel has been confirmed we are having fun and celebrating that we were right the entire time.
First off i have a few things to address.
number 1. I am not so stupid to think of using fillers in my argument. I read the manga nothing else, I don't watch the movies or the anime. So i have hardly any knowledge on either. Sorry to ruin that part of your assumption XP

number 2. I'll try to be as unbiased as possible unlike you right now, so try to be civil back.
I have no control over what my fandom does. Never said i did and yet you still bash me as though i am exactly the same. I was the one to point out that no fandom is really different and they will all overreact to the good and bad that happens. I am not telling you that you are a cunt because some people from the NaruHina fandom are. Guess what? There are gonna be some in every fandom too not just the ones who are in the opposing side. My own pairing does, does that mean i am? no. Grow up and stop labelling entire groups of people based off what some do. Thanks
Now on to what our pairings development and reasons
The reasons that most of us are fans of NaruSaku can be clumped into four main reasons.
Selflessness
They certainly didn't start that way. Naruto was initially trying to deep six Sakura's feelings for Sasuke and then tried to steal a kiss. And Sakura didn't think anything of Naruto. But they've both matured enormously since then and have been willing to give up their own dreams to help the other.
In the first chuunin exam, Sakura was willing to sink her own chances to advance in order to protect Naruto's dream of becoming Hokage. And she's tried to let Naruto out of his Promise of a Lifetime twice after seeing what he's gone through. Naruto's best example of that selflessness is the same Promise of a Lifetime.
They're both ready to support and help out the other whenever the other needs it. It's even become a bit of a flaw because in trying to help the other teammate, they try not to burden them with their own problems. It's something that they'll need to work on. After all, they aren't perfect. <3
Inspiration
Both Naruto and Sakura actively cheer each other on. Each of them finds the other to be a source of inspiration to become stronger and a better ninja. They are a source of hope for each other.
Sometimes, this is obvious like when Sakura reflects that Naruto makes her want to be better (after watching him defeat Neji) or when his fervent cheering helps her throw Ino out of her mind in their chuunin match.
Sometimes, it's more subtle such as Sakura being inspired by Naruto's continued determination to rescue Sasuke after the disastrous first attempt and how Sakura's own vow to rescue him together heartened Naruto.
It is even speculated that because of Sakura's desire to be acknowledged by sasuke (like Naruto's own desire to be acknowledged) caused Naruto to figure out why he really liked her (chapter 3)
Camaraderie
They enjoy each other's company. Despite Sakura's worries for Naruto and both of their worries for Sasuke, they still have fun. What started as irritation on Sakura's side and whining on Naruto's has turned into friendly banter. Sakura even enjoys some of Naruto's antics - sometimes. They've become comfortable around each other and can be themselves. They are also the only pairing to have panels of them just spending time together, it doesn't have to be a romantic setting, atmosphere or even implied to be romantic in anyway. Just as friends we can see how close these two are with one another.
Development
This is sort of a recap of the ones above, but it's significant in its own right. None of the above reasons for NaruSaku happened overnight. They all took place gradually over hundreds of chapters as Naruto and Sakura learned to trust each other and became comfortable around each other. The mutual development between the two is so natural in length of time that it's hard to deny that these two are not the very best of friends going on to possibly more

lol well nice replay but all that I can see is that you or rather the NaruSaku fandom are just focused in how to act like/"think" Sakura and don't considering her true feelings; like for example her love toward Sasuke is still there, and the fandom can't assume things that aren't unveiled yet, you know?
You can talk wonders of Naru---Saku pairing, but that doesn't really make any differences if there's something that is in your shipping's way and viceversa. And also doesn't change the fact that there will always be fans who shits everything and start this stupids comparisons about which character is better for Naruto.
And like you said it, I also don't have control over what the fandom do (not that I have to really be part of a shipping group to show my devotion toward certain couples, because I'm not really fond of that sort of stuffs); and what they do or not do, I can really care less because their actions have nothing to do with me anyways.
