Weekly Quest: Harvest FestivalFall has finally arrived. The leaves are turning orange and falling from their trees and a cold breeze has arrived that cuts through your summer t-shirt. The Harvest festival is this coming weekend. Every year the town comes together to gather all the remaining crops from the fields and to show off their prized vegetables and livestock from this year. The annual pumpkin carving contest is held at the Harvest festival as well as other games and activities for everyone to enjoy. Depict your handler and tokota enjoying the Harvest festival. Whether they are helping gather the last of the crops, carving a pumpkin, or admiring the entrants for vegetable and livestock competitions.

Wow. Okay, so finished a tad late with the fine details, but hey guys! I know I kinda just revived from the dead, but a LOT's been going on the past couple months. I moved into my own place, for starters! This is my first apartment, finally, and I'm so excited! I've finally settled down, and it's definitely feeling more and more like home. Anney (greyhound) is doing wonderfully, and even has a new little brother who I adopted a month and a half ago (another greyhound). She's so far pretty clear as far as the cancer goes, so fingers crossed we continue to do well!

I loved doing this piece, and am thrilled with how it came out. It took me nearly 2 weeks on and off to finish, well over 10 hours of work. It really is amazing how out of practice I am with drawing, so this was wonderful to jump back into the game with. I'm looking forward to working on some more in the future. I need to take things slow, however, as I do still have two jobs on top of my other everyday responsibilities. But nonetheless, I'm excited!
