But wow, this dude came out amazing! I love how elegant and soft his hair and fabric came out, it gives such a, well for lack of a better word, 'pretty' feel to it! Lovely it Is. ^^

I know what you mean, I've drawn things that I didn't think were any good, due to lack of inspiration and what not, but have been told they came out well!
I think I could be less a matter of being done well, and more so the feeling of not doing it well enough. X'D
And at lest you can look back on it later and decide what you liked about it, to do it better another time
