The once dark and oily eyes of Sektor lit up in shock upon hearing his weakened friend's voice, even more so that Cyrax called him by his given name, rather than his code-name. The fallen warrior's eyes opened slightly. He struggled to remain awake. The other man could no longer maintain his stoic mask as he drew Cyrax closer to him.

"That wave of chi...it was stronger than it looked. I...I let my guard down too easily--"
"No...it was I that let my guard down...Fenyang. It matters not right now. They are all dead; the bastard that did this to you died horribly. I saw it it myself." Sektor stated darkly.
"...Then our mission is complete. I'm glad...you're not hurt." Cyrax offered in response, his eyelids drooping.
"Fenyang, no! Stay awake! I need you stay awake right now," Sektor pleaded, "Tomas is en-route to our location. We're almost home."
"...Home?"
"Yes, home...where our friends and clan brothers await our return. YOUR return."
"Home..."
"...It wouldn't be much of a home without you..." Sektor admitted, more to himself than to Cyrax.

"You delirious fool, what are you thanking me for?"
"Thank you...for calling me Fenyang."

It finally dawned on Sektor that he had been referring to his fallen friend by his given name.
"I thought...I thought you were lost in that mask you wear as Sektor...but you're still...you're still there, Hou. The little boy that befriended me when I was five years old is here, holding me."

The Lin Kuei Prince didn't know if he was going to chastise him or sob openly, but he was desperate to keep Cyrax awake long enough for Smoke to find
them and get them out of the ruins. He opted to keep him talking as long as he could.

"You truly are delirious." Sektor offered, his voice a blend of annoyance and tearful relief, "Keep talking."
"Then I wish to be delirious Fenyang."
"Cyrax is better."
"No, he's not. Cyrax would have let the snot-nosed bastard hit you with his chi and fought on while you were in agonizing pain. It's because of Fenyang... that you're shedding tears...even now..."
"You...you are a fool...and for that, I owe you my life, Fenyang."
