I have a darker look for Madoka in mind too. Not because she's evil or edgy. It's just she's seen a lot through many years, even before turning into a new principle of the universe. And pink and black goes well together. My Madoka brings a more tech-y past, though, and it must reflect in her looks too. Instead of frills I think along the lines of the way more practical outfits of the Mockingjay or Sofia from ROTR. And a compound bow is a must.

Normal Goddess Madoka or Edgy Goddess Madoka. Normal one wins hands down.

Exactly. And Madoka is practically the Light of hope personified right? She can't be edgy and dark. Even if the anime was a dark one.

Madoka is a beacon. Pure hope, love, and light. Flawed, yes. But still what separates Madoka Magica from the rest. Attack on Titan and Evangelion HAVE no real beacon, or the beacon is made dull. Anyone who would hurt her deserves to die and be forgotten forever. No afterlife...

It is what MONSTERS who would hurt her deserve! Not just out of hate, but for ANY reason! Even the smallest intent to inconvenience Madoka!

Between trying to stop her, and help her, #PraiseMadoka is probably still in the better side of things. Although how to help push that and spread her message, I don't know.
