If I could, I would go back in time and stop my self from picking up that stupid notebook. But if I had done that, maybe you and I would have never met. But maybe it's better that way. Maybe you'd still be alive if we had never met. It's all my fault. So now, as I'm thinking this from me to you, maybe one day everyone will be able to forget me. When you died, I was thinking the last rule in the deaht note. "Whoever uses the deaht note can go neither Heaven nor Hell." and now, even if I died, I still wouldn't see you. But I blame myself. Anything would be better than facing this world without you. So I'm going to pull the trigger, and maybe you'll find it in your heart to forgive what I did." Light thinks as he grabs the gun from his father's desk. He holds it to his head, and with a loud bang, he puts himself out of his deadly misery.
When he "wakes up", he can see nothing. Just blackness. "I hope I'm dead." Light thinks.
