Full is right! Forgive a man's curiosity but what does it feel like? Is it terribly uncomfortable? Can you really feel the baby moving around a lot?

To the skin and muscles it feels as though you've just eaten the biggest meal of your life...and then are trying to fit more. It literally feels like theres not enough room going on...shortness of breath is common. Then in turn your heart races for a bit.
It's getting to be rather uncomfortable these days. If I'm not standing straight or laying flat on my left side then the baby starts kicking around and abuses my organs until I do so.
And this baby moves ALL THE DAMN TIME!!! I can always feel where his head is and then follow through the rest of his body. The kicks others can see through my shirt. And I can feel him startle if theres a sudden, loud noise. It feels like someone poking a little more on the forceful side with like 3 fingers, but from the inside. Lol. Weirdest part, as of the past few days, is feeling when he gets the hiccups.

Oh wow! That sounds like an amazing experience, even with the discomfort. Just the idea of a little person growing inside you is so fantastic! I know you're treasuring all these moments and mileposts. What sort of birth do you want to have? I ask because I know there are lots of methods and options these days.

It is an amazing experience. Selfishly, I'm ready for him to come out. I miss having a normal body, and I miss not being able to function like a human. But I do cherish it all.
Vaginal with medication. It's available to us, why not use it? Lol. That is one pain I can do without in life!
I have a glucose screening test on the 15th. I'm kinda nervous about it honestly..diabetes does show up in our family, and I've had issues where I get dizzy and I know I need sugar. And during this pregnancy I've had a killer sweet-tooth. ><

I think that's to be expected! I agree with the use of medicine. It's safe, proven and effective so why not use it so you can "enjoy" the birth experience more. Gestational diabetes is a real concern if you have a family history. I hope the test goes well.

My hemoglobin levels were bordering normal to low.
But they didn't say anything about it being harmful.

I'm feeling over-stuffed.
There's just over 8 weeks until he arrives.
That's only if he goes to full term, and no one thinks that he will.
We are thinking around Thanksgiving is when I'll be having him. lol.

Thanksgiving would be a great time for him to come into the world! Partner was born on the 26th of Nov and he always enjoyed large birthday parties because so many relative would be over for visits around that time of year. I'm sure you do feel something like a well-stuffed turkey about now but all the discomfort will be worth it!

Plus Matt is forced to take days off around then anyway. So it would be much more convenient for us. lol

Have they narrowed the due date down yet? Are you going to try for an all-natural birth or are you going to avail yourself of whatever pharmacological help might be offered?

I mean...they still say Dec 5th.
I've been having quite a few braxton hicks.
And as of right now theres only 6.5 weeks left.
But we still think sooner.

The room is getting painted now. Matt's been working hard on that.
I'm not having a shower. Being as I have all of 2 friends here in NC,and my family is in SC and NY...and Matt's family is in Illinois it made it difficult. But my mom and aunt sent out announcements and information on where I registered for gifts.
I am excited, but I'm anxious more than anything.

Don't be too scared. I know childbirth isn't pleasant in a physical sense and it will be uncomfortable but if it was too bad people wouldn't keep making babies. You're strong and healthy and you're in a country with excellent pre and neonatal care. You're going to be just fine and so is the baby.

seriously? That's funny actually. There aren't many pretty gals who doesn;t like to be on pictures. I hate it too and i'm allways avoiding cameras. Thats why i haven;t got one in my gallery.
