Hellooooo everyone! Sorry for the dust around here, but I have just been really busy with all kinds of things - school, my summer internship, and of course the preparation I did during May for A-kon. I crammed what was probably 2-3 months of work in 3 weeks, and needless to say it was kind of insane. I ended up having to cut 2 of the 4 cosplays I'd planned to wear, but I will finish them later this summer in time for San Japan and Animefest :3

This photo features one of the 2 cosplays I did end up taking to A-kon: Edward Elric! I've been a ridiculous little FMA fangirl since I discovered the series around the time I was 14; it's been quiiiite a while since then, but I have always related well to Ed. Anyway, when I got into 'serious' cosplay around 2009, he was the first dream cosplay I ever had XDD But it wasn't until ~Izaya-chan said she would be willing to cosplay Roy for me that I decided to go back to my old dreams and finally cosplay Edward *_* I was also pretty happy that my sister, who shared FMA with me as we were growing up, joined us as Lust.

About the cosplay itself, I was ridiculously OCD while making this and that added on a bit of extra time to the construction time, but overall I'm pleased with how it came out xD I will be fixing a few things before I wear him again, but thankfully con season isn't over yet so I will for sure wear him again before the year is out!

I have bunches of photos from A-kon to post eventually, so look forward to more Edward, as well as photos of the other cosplay I took: Sinbad from Magi!!!
