I started this painting yesterday after I finished the book by the same title. I'm kinda stuck at the moment about how to keep detailing this...so I'm just going to upload it as it is right now..it really needs to have more detail to it though...Related content

I'm reading that book again and I have been so inspired to illustrate it. I just started. Long way to go. Wonderful art.

I agree with Pudding, the grass and rocks are looking excellent so far! I also like the deep shadows and hues for the lower waterfall. I really need to go back and read that book.

I really like the background so far! Maybe there could be mist around teh water fall? I'm not sure becasue it is your work. Still I am digging the grass and the shadows on the rocks! 8O

yeah I should add mist around the waterfall, it would be more realistic
