Description well, the CG time got shorter! started around 1:00 this afternoon and finished around 7:00. while that's still a long time, it's shorter than how long it used to take me.

i tried out a different, softer style for this and FINALLY added a background. and i did not ink this one; i left the pencil sketch as the guidelines and i personally think they worked fine. fly, axel, fly. :3

ugh, the color looked so much better in photoshop.

haha! pyro in the classroom. i worked with fire on the first day of school and my teacher was paranoid that i'd catch it on fire. what? i was PLAYING with a lighter all class long and i'm still alive. xDD

axel says: xDDD in science last year i was working with sam and he told me that i wasn't allowed to touch the matches xDD then he kept trying to lite them and they kept breaking so he said "these matches are too weak for my muscles" xDDD his arms are all skinny and noodly ^^ 'twas hilarious!

haha! i've never broken a match...because i've never tried to light a fire with one. i'm too lame so i use the small pocket lighters. they're fun! you can set the level to HIGH and the fire goes WOOSH. ...wow, i'm definitely too fire obsessed. XP

No no! Submitting this couldn't have killed it, the color is too beautiful! It has a nice, serene feel to it. I also like the lineart of the face and wings especially.
