True enough, Talia DOES have her own exotic charm, being the daughter of the leader of an ancient society trying to bring order to the world, and all that. Still, Catwoman's the archetype of the classy criminal, just like Batman's the archetype of the grim avenger. It's just a better case of attracting opposites, if you ask me.
Then again, there's always Poison Ivy (especially her rendition in the "Arkham Asylum/City stories) and Harley Quinn (poor girl fell in love with the wrong guy); while neither of them really fits as a love interest for Batman, they both have their own unique appeal...though come to think of it, they ARE living together...
