For ~ They had a big art trade event, so I couldn't resist XD my assignment was as follows:For
Character: Fayt x Maria, please!
Media: A drawing would be really great.
Theme: Something romantic between them, specifications are up to the artist!
Yes, I totally failed. But I tried, I swear I did...and everytime...I just kept getting too creeped out. I see the two of these guys having a sibling-like relationship, which is why it turned out like this, lol. Good enough, I hope
I took a break from working on Luka for BishieCon to get this done (btw, all I have left to do on him is the belts, lol, I even freaking made his ear cuffs, cause I'm crazy like that)

For sure, I think they were more sibling like XD well, you can explore the relationships with each character based on how you play it, though you don't get much with any XD

Yeah, i didn't liked this on the game. They simply rushed into the "save the universe" thing and "forgot" about the rest. I didn't liked much my ending.

which ending did you get? I got Albel's, lol, but I'm a sucker for a man with abs and in armor (and in a skirt? lol). I'm actually repainting my Albel armor right now (I cosplay him), lol XD
I think the first part of the game was okay in regards to story, but it definitely got rushed after disc 2

And i agree, the first disc was much better than the second. Man, I've got frustrated because of the dungeons and the enemies(thoses executors or whathever were they called)and the fact that 4 characters enters on the party with level 1( or kind of)!

Aw, that sucks. It's all how you play the game though? I did ridiculous amount of sidequests and all that to ensure the ending I wanted, lol.
LOL! for me, I thought it just moved waaay too fast! I mean, I didn't spend alot of time on the game when I actually LOOKED at the time, but it was like, the 2nd disc and all the dungeons on it were just so...quick. I went into one, thinking I'd train, and like half hour later I realized I was suddenly fighting the boss of it O.O
haha XD I could talk Star Ocean all day! ANY of the games XD

The 2nd disc even has that part on the real world when we(the players) are incapable of level up because the game don't let us.
Ahahahah yeah. I only played the 3rd until now but it's a good game.
If only there wasn't so much problems within it, specially on the disc two...

Ugh, yeah, that part. Well, not that I ever level up enugh, anyways. I'm always anywhere from 10-20 levels lower than most people are by the end of a game (heck, I actually got stuck on FF7 cause when I made it to the third disc, I was only level 22, and I couldn't handle the monsters..XD )
Well, as far as the games go, I believe SO1 has the best story, SO2 has the best cast, SO3 had the best combination of story and cast, and SO4 has the best integration of other games to it (like it pulls SO1 into it, and So2 and SO1 are linked). Blue Sphere is the worst out of allof them, but it's still fun. It lacks alot of the gameplay mechanics that make the other Star Oceans better, but it works with the SO2 crew again (though with a different mix of them as the focus). I actually own every single SO game out there, and I mean, like multiple versions of some of them, haha XD *such an addict*
I definitely recommend the other ones though!

A friend of mine have the Star Ocean 2. I saw he playing and i liked it. The SO3have some stupid mecanics additions that isn't even logical. I mean, the other games have better mecanics(at least the SO2 and SO4). But the cast is really awesome! Fayt and Cliff together are hilarious!

lol, SO4 had even more flops than 3, especially in regard to story and the horrendous use of character development, though I still love it to bits XD I do like the cast of SO3, but I think in general, the whole compilation of the cast for SO2 was the best out of all of them, their interactions, even their abilities, really balance each other out well.

I think you're right about the balance. I missed a good balance on the 3rd game. It's sad not being able to play as other characters because they're bad to control in comparison with Fayt.

I am a sucker for the Blindsides and the combos you can do in SO4, lol (although they made the battles WAY too easy for me). Mainly, I loved the fact that it took out the whole KO from MP loss (though the remakes of 1 and 2 took it out first, lol). That's what always got me in SO3. Albel always wasted his MP! and ditto to Ashton in SO2. Well, I started out playing with Fayt, but I ended up uysing Albel alot, mainly to keep him from dying, but after a while, I realized his specs were more to my fighting style anyways, so I managed. The thing I hated bout SO4 was that I always played as Faize, once you first got him. Trying to switch to ANY of the other characters like that, and you feel like you're crawling! Arumat's the only other character I could handle after that, cause of speed XD

Well, Albel wasn't on my party, so I couldn't practice with him. By the way, were you capable of crafting armors on SO3? I didn't... It's the only thing i can't make on the Item Creation.

Yah, I was sooo excited when I realized it was gone in remake of SO2. I played through all of the SO1 remake without realizing it was gone, cause I had no MP wasters, but if I took my control off Ashton (switched off tween him and claude), he'd kill himself, and this time, he'd still be alive, just without MP. Thankfully @_@
Lol, well, since Albel was my fave, he was always in there. Hm...I think I made some armor...but it wasn't anything super fancy. I mainly was focused on weapons so I could get the cool stuff XD armor was good though too, since I tend to forget to buy upgrades...XD

Hmmm synthetizing armors is a pain(if it's possible). My characters are on lvl 130 with 2.000+ of attack power, but 400 def and speed
My dimension door causes a 20.000+ damage

Lol, wow, you're way higher than me though XD I haven't played it in a while, but last time I did, I think my level was...30...XD haah. I was made enough at SO4 that it took me til lvl 50 to beat it (though my play time was 32 hrs). SO1 was the worst! They stuck the Cave of Trials right in front of the final boss, so I decided to try it out. I was level 28 when I walked in, and two hours later when I came out, I was level 110 >.>

But about my lvl: The characters stopped gaining skills after lvl 60...

Lol, I did love it, it was just, at the end of every battle, I was going up like 3-5 levels at a time..XD I wasn't even having THAT many issues, either, lol. haha, yeah, there are always caps. I like that SO4s trial is after the game though, so it didn't screw up my playtime or level. Not that SO1s did very much either, lol, but STILL XD

I have this thing with beating games in under 50 hours. SO far, the longest game play I have was on my first RPG ever, Chrono Trigger, which was 42 hours, lol. I do sidequests, and I do what I think is leveling up, but then I realize I'm really low XD But I've become known by my associates as the girl who can beat games quicker than anyone else, and I sorta wanna keep that title, haha XD Well, I have SO4 for both 360 and PS3...and don't own either system, LOL! the PS3 is at least in my house, but it's my father's, and the 360 a friend borrowed (and then was given) so we could play it. I love it, but I just hafta have EVERYTHING Star Ocean. I mean, I finally broke down back in September and decided to officially complete my collection by buying the original version of SO1...for SNES, which I don't own, either XD (I've had BlueSphere for yeras, and I even have the special edition SO PSP~ )

that's what got me into gaming, lol. I had played the first one on an emulator years before that, but a friend of mine had me over one day, and her brother was playing OoT (which is still one of my personal faves for Zelda, or games period). So I got my N64 with Majora's Mask, cause it came out right near my bday, and then OoT for xmas XD the whole reason I got the Wii was for TP, though I planned on buying other games, too, haha XD

I guess I can see that? I didn't really like the wind waker art at first, took a while to grow on me, but I think in regards to that, the art in OoT and MM were way better. I got addicted by the battle so leveling up was no problem, that's why i got a "high" lvl. Oh, now Lymle is on the group too. lvl 1 though.
Edge and Reimi BEAT are on lvl 13.
Faize's is on lvl 8 i guess.
