My absolute favorite from the entire meetup; Jon (my boyfriend) took this photo of me when I randomly came up with it. Overall it was a fun time; Thanks to Beckalu and OscarC for hosting this event!
ALL PHOTOS have been transferred copyright to me by my boyfriend. If anyone wants to argue the point I can show them written proof; as he does not want to deal with legal issues with photos that I have set up and conceptualized myself.

Well I used two wigs. It's not my real hair. My real hair is really short.
There are ways to use your real hair but out of my experience real hair is very hard to deal with cosplay wise.
If you want you can check this out and decide whether or not you'd like to do the wig way.

(My one complaint is that Toph shouldn't actually be looking straight at the camera, cause she's blind, but it's still amazing)

Lol thank you. Only time I'd shop is to fix the image colors, but lightroom does that for you anyway.

And yes; I totally agree with you, I think that it's a little too overpowering thanks to me looking at the camera however we were just really playing around and not caring if it was totally in char.

I do like this photo quite a bit, the aesthetics are lovely. If I may, I think it might have struck a deeper chord if you hadn't been looking at the camera. In this shot, you have a lot of umph in your eyes, but Toph is blind. I think a blank stare just straight out would have suited it more.

Thank you for your input. I agree entirely, it's sometimes very hard to remember that when posing for this character because the eyes are a very important part of photography imo. Though again I agree I probably should have had a more blank stare. Thank you though~!

I like it. I like the shadowed area... I just like the area in general. The way the patterning of the path as well as how it is frame. Wonderful.

As for the technical terms; I'm fully aware of that, however I already had the copyright on the photo since I save them by bulk. Never the less it is my photo, my camera and I am the model, and I would rather not have people use this photo.
I am aware however that it is "copyrighted" to him if someone wants to argue the issue. I have credited him appropriately and he honestly doesn't care. Technical issues are technical issues, if someone wants to argue the fact then they can all they want till their blue in the face and he doesn't really care. As long as I say he took the photo.

It's not only technical; it's the law. Models don't own the photo. The photographer owns all rights, regardless if its your camera.

Further still; I am the one who completely set up the entire image. I asked him to stand at certain areas and I asked him to take it, I came up with the concept and I made the pose myself. He did not. He may be the owner of the image however I AM the owner of the concept.
If you want I will GET him to physically get a write up? He has already given me verbal copyright, he has already said he doesn't want to deal with arguments of this level. Also- I am in a habit of typing image (c) to me because I do photography my own subjects; which is the case here.

Darling as I have said I am FULLY AWARE of what is the law, as I have been cosplaying for some time now and for the fact that I am a photography major. Again my boyfriend really doesn't care, do you want me to have him write a long drawn out comment towards you.
Please do not draw this out or I will hide the comments. I don't want to make my images somewhere for you or anyone else to debate. Please read my comments next time before continuing to drag this out.
Now I am asking you not to comment again and leave this issue as it stands. I don't need to be lectured when I already know what is what. Again this isn't a topic that is up for debate. If you want to say whether the subject of the photo is too blurry and how it should be fixed- fine. But when it gets down to technical issues/law issues do not try to debate something like that because I'm already aware.
As I have said my images are watermarked by bulk; and if you don't like it go complain to my boyfriend; where he can just tell you the same thing, he doesn't care.
