If memory serves me correctly, in the King of Fighters myth, the Orochi is reborn once every 500 years (last time being 1997), to try and destroy the world. Well, out of pure mischief and inspiration, I mixed KOF with my own universe, and got myself to drawing the final battle.Yep, battle royale is an understatement here. We got the Eight Headed Serpent against the Lord of Nine! Place your bets and pull up a chair, because THIS fight you won't see on HBO!
Took me a few hours to colour this pic, and I'm rather proud of the shading on both Bosses. BG came out well, I think, but I was sorta running out of juice, especially after drawing the Kokiteno/Orochi symbol on the battle floor. All in all, I'm pleased with the outcome, and I hope you all like it (especially a certain floppy tailed rabbit I know
P.S. Looks like Yamata-no-Orochi's been working out since his last rebirth ;P (Gomen, 0r0ch1-kun, I couldn't help it)

That is totally sweet! I love the VG look. I really dunno who to bet on. They both look kick ass, so it's too hard.

As if Kyo Bunni should ever be so buff. XP Lucky him you should draw him that way. [Thus giving his personal image more self esteem. ^ ^;]
The main problem here were your choices or colors on the character and backgrounds: THEY BLEND INTO EACH OTHER. ^ ^;;
Meaning if you look at the color scheme for Kyo Bunni [Shut up. It's my name for him and he knows it. ] you made all the markings of his body black. Which, in being the same color as the background, gives the impression that..well...those markings are a part of the background.
To avoid that I sugesst trying...assuming you use that evil monster known as Photoshop.. [I'm a Clarisworks nut. I rip on Adobe at random] you should go with a gradient fill. Something from light to dark. This way you could show a light source on the black linings, but at the same time keeping them with the expressiong that they are solid black in color.
The groud [That whole flaming pit of all impending doom] was creative. I like how you put together the flame effect.
All and all, I say this was a well done picture, creative in content, colorful, even while some blend into the background off setting them. Indeed, fine work. ^ ^
