Hmm. I like the name Cornelius for James' father. Sounds a bit badass and could make Fox's full name sound even cooler.

The McCloud lineage has a curse on them, don't they?

Let's see, Generation 1 McClouds lived in a shithole and died there.Β
Generation 2 went through a war, watched the planet he lived on become polluted, had his wife die on him and became separated from his son because of a madman.
Generation 3 had to deal with a war, the lose of both parents, the lose of his only 'girlfriend', and currently has a an aggressive male space pirate wanting to kill and/or fuck him.
Yeah...

I love how, through that tragic explanation, you just threw in an "and/or fuck him".

The accuracy of this message is beautiful and sad and horrifying at the same time, and I think I love you

Very cute. Now I have some headcanon as to who James' parents are. Papetoon sounds like a terrible place. Really sad story, they seem like such nice parents. His mom is really cute but talk about a hamster trying to eat a banana! Grandpa Ben is a monster! He's huge!

o.o; Oh my, that wasn't a comment I was expecting. As for Grandpa Ben, I thought he would be on the larger body size because it would make him more intimidating and able to defend his tiny family from marauders and ill-folk

Ha har! Yeah, that took a turn real quick. Sorry about that. He is pretty big though, something I didn't think in line with normal foxy characteristics. That and James' mom is roughly half his size, literally. Poor thing. He could easily pick her up and toss her in the air as if she were nothing. So yeah, I suppose being larger would make it easier to protect your family.

Yeah, foxes are normally known for being small and agile. As for their size differences, you can't help who you fall in love with. I'm sure when they first met that she was intimidated by him at first. I think it would be kind of cute if he were carrying her on his shoulders sometimes, just a bit of play, or able to pick her up and throw her out of the way of trouble. He'd also worry, when he found out she was pregnant, about her carrying his child and how it might kill her since she's so petite
