Nice pic. Is Yami in love with Rito at all? If so what episode does she show her affection?

Black Cat features a girl named Eve who is shares many characteristics as Yami such as body morphing ability from nanomachine manipulation. Are they the same? I'd have to say no. They mirror each other in many aspects but aren't perfect matches.

Lol yea I just noticed that till now after I watched more of the episodes. There cool but Utau Tsukiyomi from Shugo Chara is the hottest anime and cartoon character in the world lol! Anyway I just got done watching episode 9 for Black Cat and I doubt that I will be watching more tonight cause I have to go to bed for school tomorrow. Anyway I have a question for that cartoon. 1. question) Why did eve change her hair all of a sudden? I know it sounds stupid but just all of a sudden her hair just looks like from other anime cartoons. I have watched 4 anime cartoons total and all of them have at LEAST 1 girl who has long blonde hair and there hair is all seperate just like hers. 2. question) What the heck just happened to whatever that guyses name is that peopel call him black cat. I can't remember though but his personality has changed dramatically. He eats more, talks more, more of fighting, and just everything you know and he even wears a new shirt with 4 things on them. What are those 4 things anyway? It's just weird for his change.

I never really enjoyed the anime version. While the beginning was somewhat interesting, the manga carried out a much better story. That said, I continued watching for completion sake. Up until episode 9, I don't recall Eve changing her hair significantly. Long blond hair isn't very unusual for character designs. It usually looks good. Why did the manga-ka choose that? No idea... perhaps it worked better than long black hair. Train Heartnet's transformation to a bounty hunter was very unnatural and sped up in the anime. I urge you to actually try the manga, you won't regret it. The costume design is a bit questionable. As I said before, I have no idea what the manga-ka is thinking.

manga-ka = manga artist. Black Cat originally started as a manga. The anime adaption came much later with an altered story. While there are similar elements in the plot, the execution of the story is very different. You may find it to be very confusing at first but once the story sinks in, you may find the manga story to be more pleasant than the manga, less rushed and better explanations. Something you should keep in mind, if you do venture into reading the manga, start with a clean slate. Wipe away everything you saw from the anime and start anew. It will be better that way.

So your saying that if I read the books first it would be easier to understand than watching the movies? I find the movies to understand quite well though I will read the books later.

Printed media tends to include more details that you may read into. That said, static printed media also lacks certain aspects that animes incorporate. Black Cat the manga is basically just a different story. To say you will understand easier may be true for certain points but this will not apply for much of the story.

The mangaka for Black Cat and To Love-Ru are the same. Almost all characters in both mangas have some connection from character designs to personality. Eve and Yami-chan are very much the same character. The only difference is their past. Personality, abilities and appearance are practically the same.

Eve from Black Cat was raised by that rich arms dealer seeking to create the perfect bio-weapon and Eve was the result. Yami's past hasn't been confirmed but I'm quite sure she was not born on Earth. From a more recent chapter, Yami mentioned nanomachines as her method of transformations so I'd say yes, they both utilize nanomachines.

I know that Eve was created by Dr.Tearju.
Probably Yami is Eve, but she doesn't want to be known.
Yami isn't her real name its what people call her, right?
"The Blonde Darkness" is what people is calling her.

Separate universes... just many ideas and concepts recycled for the author's next work.
