Thought I'd take a scene from The Dark Knight and try it in the BAS style.
Honestly, didn't think too much of the Dark Knight, not only was it depressing; it had serious leaps in logic. Like, when the Joker's captured..the police can't figure out who he is; maybe if the washed the paint off his face first, etc. Plus someone that dangerous wouldn't be locked up with the rest of the goons and there's no way they'd let batman in to kick him around. Sorry, but if you're going to go with a 'realistic Batman'; you should stick to real-life rules...or common sense. On the other hand, The Batman animated series is definitely my favorite Batman version.

Actually even if you have someone face it can be hard to know who they are just because they have no identification. And even if you say the logic is flawed but I find that a common trace in many movies to fail at logic.
I find Harvey Dents turn to the evil a bit unbelievable compare to BTAS

Harvey is such a great character; he deserves to be the central villain in the movie, not paired with Riddler or Joker. :/

The only thing I liked about that film was Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker. Though the facepaint thing doesn't make sense, I always thought it was estabished that his face was bleached by chemicals or something (at least that's what happened in the original Batman movie and The Killing Joke comic).
I do enjoy the idea of the Joker as having no identity. Kind of like saying he could be anyone.

I had a huge problem with Dark Knight, outside of the fact I could get the little fucks in front of me to shut the hell up until I lost my temper and got them thrown out. I always felt the Dark Knight's version of the Joker was just some nutcase playing the Joker. When Bats wipes off the face paint, I felt like I had wasted my $10.50.

Glad to see someone else agrees with me. So many people were caught up with Heath Ledger's death that they just went ahead and said he was so good in it. Like X-Men: First Class, I had too many problems with it than to try and sit down to watch it again.
