Well the hair was changed a bit too, so maybe it was just an overall difference in look that makes her appear different in my eyes. It's a distinct possibility.

I'm certainly not complaining. I did see that the hair hangs down instead of out, so she looks much more similar to the Gadget Penny...outside of the obvious age difference anyways.

Maybe I should play with her bangs a bit; or just give up and change her name to "Jenny."

Could adjust the hair color a bit, or maybe give it something that makes her stand out more, like a streak of white as an example. Other possibility would be to make the bangs longer or spikier perhaps.
My thoughts on it. I know it's incredibly easy to take one look and go, "Hey, it's Penny from Inspector Gadget!" But she did kind of claim that hair style and color pretty hard core.

Not any more then Bubble or Dee-dee, really. Plus, she's like nine. (I'd really forgotten all about her!) Kinda creepy what you get when you do a Penny Gadget image search. (Oh, the horrors.)I could always just keep her hair down.

Well that's true I suppose, but it might be an 'our generation' thing?
Here's a thought, could move the tails lower so they're at the base top of her neck but still two separate ones.
