King Kong vs Godzilla! Always loved the movie, though poor Kong looks really dorky and, really, if wasn't for dues ex machina, he'd never walked away from the fight with Big-G. I tried for the classic King Kong look and amped up his electrical powers so it'd look like they were more evenly matched!Related content

I read somewhere that the movie was originally Franenstin monster vs Godzilla. That explains the lighting huh?

First, let me say, "Good picture."
Second, let me say, "Pretty good."
Third, I'll put in my tiny negative comments.
When I first looked in my devWatch, I saw the line art next to this one. As thumbnails, these two pictures looked different. This one was obviously Godzilla vs. Godzilla and the line art was King Kong vs. Godzilla. Thumbnails aside, King Kong looks awfully dark here. This is quite understandable since he has black fur and lightning is in the foreground. I'm not sure what would make it better. Maybe less lightning effects so we can see more hairy features? Maybe differentiating the lighting on the fur so it stands out against the lightning?
Anyway, despite this little critique, the picture is well done.

heh, actually it was always King King vs Godzilla, but Kong's face in the sketch is a bit elongated; they do kind of reflect each other here. I could probably lighten up Kong some, always room for imrovement.
