Our X-Force team at ECCC 2013!Few words about the costumes... Material is moleskin spandex from [link] (matte black and silver), it's a wonderful material and if you're making bodysuits I recommend nothing else. In my costume the gray areas are sewn in insets, except for the sickle on the sleeve which is an appliquΓ©. Belt buckles are resin cast, made by ReevzFX [link] as is Wolverine's mask (which was custom painted to match the fabric). My wig is from Epic Cosplay [link] cut and styled by *jj-dreamworldz .
*jj-dreamworldz 's costume is made by herself, and ~Kenshiro-FDP 's costume is a commission from ~nishibie .

It never fails to blow my mind when I am looking for cosplay examples - find someone who did an INCREDIBLE JOB the likes of which are perfectly executed and I wish I could find anywhere near me... and then to my drop-jaw amazement... I suddenly recognize the background they are standing in and realize they are in fact cossers from my neck of the woods and then I am left gob-smacked wondering HOW I am surrounded by all these amazing cosplayers and I never seem to know them or successfully collaborate and network with them. Your X-factor coss are inspiring and If you are interested in continuing to cos X- force or any x-men really, I am thinking about starting a NW X-Men cos player group. I'd love to keep in touch with all of you on that idea.

heya! fell in love with the way the fabric looks in the costumes. followed the link to spandexworld and noticed that there are 2 different matte moleskin spandexes. Im having a hard time deciding which one yours are made of.

Huh that's pretty weird! I'm pretty sure the one I got was the $12/yard one - color-wise I think they're the same, but the cheaper one has little bit less spandex and more nylon so it's a little bit less stretchy. I don't know how much of a difference it would actually make.

The moleskin spandex, is it very thick?

It's pretty thick, imagine swimsuit fabric, probably twice as thick as that.
