This is the last one I'll be posting on DA. There's a bunch more (30+ pics total were taken) on cosplay.com so if you wanna see the rest, then go there :3 I uploaded the ones I thought turned out the best.For Onicon, I'll be revising Bankai a bit. Firstly, I'll be adding some hooks to the back/top of the mask so I can hook it directly into the wig and let it hang over my face. Also, I'll probably add a tab of sorts so I just bite down on it to hold the mask close while it dangles, that way I don't have to mess with spirit gum at all (which makes for better non!mask pics.) I'll probably just make the Shikai!Ichigo for walking around at Oni though because they'll be anal about my Tensa Zangetsu, and my unwillingness to peace-bind it (it's like 1.5feet between the hilt and the loop on the sheath.) Though, they might not care so I'll bring Bankai anyway.
Can't wait for Ikkicon either. My 11 year old sister (she turns 11 later this month anyway) is gonna cosplay Hitsugaya with me XD I'm TEMPTED to make a Matsumoto outfit (yeah, laugh it up, chuckles, but under that binding is a C-cup that can look bigger if I wanted it too XP) but I may just stick with Ichigo again. Matsumoto would be pretty hilarious though.

Where did I get what, the costume? I made everything myself and styled the wig, and bought the sword cuz it was cheaper and looked better than if I made it, too.

I'm confused...did someone else claim to have made my costume or something? I still have the thing in my closet. No one else has ever worn my costume and I never let anyone else make things for me.

i saw someone else on deviantart who makes thier own costumes ( like you ) and i thought as a joke that their was this make your own costume trend that everyone was doing which i wasnt knowing about Dx

nice pose. i got this costume, but no mask and they'd run out of the proper sword. i had to get the zangetsu instead. my friends said i shoul try dressing as a girl for a change, and i shoudln't go to fancy dress partis wih a huge wooden sword dressed as a death god.

Well, if you actually do go to real-world parties dressed as a Shinigami, you might be making people think you're...well, a bit unhinged from reality. I wouldn't go so far as to say you need to wear a dress (I refuse to), but I wouldn't run around in cosplay either. Try to keep cosplay and real-world stuff seperate so folks don't think you've lost your mind

I made mine. Not sure what to tell ya. A lot of Bleach cosplayers cop-out and buy really cheaply made/inaccurate ones on eBay.

The mask has no straps or strings of any sort. It actually kinda balanced on my nose on its own, all I did was use Spirit Gum to keep it from slipping off if I looked down. I applied it to the bridge of my nose and the out-most part of my chin, and it was good to go.
