From now on, I'm going to start actively making my chapters shorter. No more "oh lol it's 40 pages long and will take a month to finish" crap. If any other chapter pushes 25 pages, I will FIND a stopping point and just cut it off. I don't like sitting on finished work for so long.

*bites lip* Will you look at that, milord Ulquiorra. An attack faster than the eye can see, which slices and dices through Yammy as if he were a young calf instead of an Espada in his ResurrecciΓ³n. Unleashed only at the moment of greatest despair over a threatened/injured/dying loved one. Annoying though it may be, it reminds me of Kurosaki. *grumble*
And... why did you not attack with this level of ferocity to begin with, milord Ulquiorra? If the lives of other Arrancar now lack any value, and Yammy is just an obstacle to be removed, why not be quick and decisive about it? Hmph. Perhaps you became used to the state of affairs under your former lord, like the captive predator who loses his edge, and needs some time before the wild makes sense again. *sigh* And. of course, the bitterest lesson is that time may be just what there is least.

Really good chapter ! Very dynamic Kubo-style ! But what I truly appreciated was the way all the characters motivations and personalities conflicted with one another. Also I like the fact that Ulquiorra experienced defeat for the first time. Ichigo's fight may not really matter. He felt like he was losing something important to him. That's what it meant to have a heart.

I felt so bad for Ulquiorra in the last half. My heart went out to him when he found Orihime, but I know she has not left him alone. I look forward to seeing his reaction when he realizes this

I do the initial drawings in pencil, but I do the inking in Paint Tool Sai. Makes everything much nicer that way~

Aye. I used to do all my inking with an actual pen (Chapter 1-3 are done that way) but I got sick of how bad I was at it. It's hard to tell on the finished product, but I would literally spend hours fixing and adjusting my lineart after scanning it. The originals just look sad. It was just getting frustrating. So, when someone told me about how Sai worked, I picked it up immediately. It took around 4 chapters of using it though to really get used to how it worked, cuz I was learning it on my own XD Ch5 looks awful because I had a brain-fart about the pen density settings. I've got it down pretty well now though and I'm settled in, so the art is getting really good.

Grimmjow's hair was a pain, but I think I managed to draw it well enough. You folks will be the judge when I post the chapter. I'm about half done with it now. I farted around too much today and didn't get started till late so I didn't get as much done as I usually do. Tomorrow should be better.

Heh, I actually don't have a social life. My best friends are my cats and my only regular human contact is my family. I don't generally like people that much, and all the friends I did have either joined the military after high school or just moved away in general. I'm the only person left here that didn't get screwed into going somewhere else. Heck my closest best friend is in Dallas and he's about to go back to the desert as a civilian contractor...so I'll really be the only person left. It kinda sucks, but that's why I do the doujin...to keep my mind off of it all.

I Just read Your Doujin..AND ITS SO AWESOME *_* , I wish that could happen in the anime aswell.
And i've heard that you release every 3 weeks.
May i ask. Do you release a Page every 3 weeks OR a Chapter every 3 weeks?

I update in bulk, one whole chapter. However, the update schedule isn't 3 weeks...it's average every 10-14 days, provided nothing IRL prevents me from drawing.

as for the chapter it was both emotional and suspenseful if thats even a word xD its easy to imagine time moving rather slowly when ulquiorra found orihime unconsious now the question is will we see ulquiorra go segunda in rage or will he just kick yammys ass in standard release, what will the captains do? will orihime wake up? the list really does go on xD
final note i reread the old version of this and the difference in your style and skill is phenomonal, keep it up.

Ahhhh I dunno if there's a definite permanent update schedule...I still have to look for a job and all that. But, since I'm shrinking the update sizes, spacing out the manuscript over many more chapters, and generally the fact that my life doesn't absolutely suck anymore, I could say that my average 10-14 day release schedule is probably accurate again. I'm already 12 pages into Ch13.
As for all of your questions, they're answered in the first half of the next update XD
And...ugh, the old Redux. It wounds me XD I'm actually drawing Ch13 on the backside of the paper I drew the old Ch5 on rofl

I use WoW when I feel like I can't focus on the art. It's a great way to break everything up. But it was a huge relief to get Ch12 online, so once I'm satisfied with my newly adjusted manuscript (everything is still here that I originally wanted, it's just spaced out across more chapters) and I finish collecting the references I need for Grimmjow, Nell (and Nnoitra's corpse) then I'll be getting to work. I canceled Netflix so I won't be distracted by TV now XD

Yeah, I was just teasing lol, I understand you want to think about something other than bleach all the time. The refresher of something else stimulates some creative anyway Imo. Take you time with it and enjoy what you do! Netflix is distracting. Im going to go play FF6 for a while I think, otherwise I have human frames to start drawing. None whatsoever. Doing art for a living is my worst nightmare. The second someone starts paying you for it, they start making suggestions, or worse, telling you outright what to draw. I can only draw if it's exclusively MY brainchild...it's why I don't generally do commissions or art trades. I would feel limited by it, unless the person is paying me a lot and/or gives me free reign to draw whatever I want. When I get done with the Redux and my art is good enough to do an original story I already have written, only then will I start asking for money, and only if people want to buy hardcopies of what I'll be putting online for free. That way it's basically straight from me to a printer, without any contracts, editors, publishers or other middlemen.

Ahh, I see. When I'm out of college, I plan to be a writer of historical-supernatural books and probably a newspaper writer as well. I'd like to see something original made by you, I'm sure you would have great ideas for that kind of thing. The Redux is definitely an example of how much you have been improving. I really wish this could've happened in the manga.
