Today was a great day! Mom spent it resting, and my sisters and I did the cooking and cleaning, and i cooked up juicy, spicy (but not to spicy!), lemon-tastic meatballs. Then I drew this stuff. Mom really liked this strip, she found it funny. So I thought to put it up.Don't we all feel this stuff?

I feel the same way in almost everything 
And I hate it when the nibs on my pencil breaks, and when I get new ones, I feel so thrilled and that I can do anything

I hear ya on the pencils
On prayers... I always found the idea of prayer to be futile, and in the case of asking for something, built on selfishness.

-_- Well, cynic as you are, I don't think a word from me would convince you that prayers are helpful, but they pretty much are. Also, selfishness isn't wrong as long as it doesn't harm others or make them seem less important, which only happens when it comes along with self-centeredness.

More like I used to write with pencils, and they broke far too often.
I can admit that they are helpful and uplifting in a psychological way, much like the placebo effect, but in terms of actual efficiency, statistics and facts tell us prayers coming true is completely dependent on chance, and never once proven to have supernatural effects or causes.
Myself, I feel that to pray for something for yourself, and then think it is an answer from God if you actually get it, is hella presumptuous. So many people out there pray for better, more important things (a cure for a terminal illness, money for an operation they can't afford, et cetera) and yet they do not receive answer even though they are more deserving... to think then that your own little request was more important, so much that God himself granted it, is ludicrously egocentric and presumptuous.

Yes it does. It also makes figures go round, which makes me sad. And yeah! Women feel so CERTAIN about being extremely pretty or mirror-cracking hideous- it's just the way we are I guess!
