Here's a picture I drew and inked in back in 2002. I think I was inspired by pictures of Lineage 2 at the time. A friend told me about the game and sent me some links to check out and I was drawn in right then and there! I really liked the character designs for that game. I was so impressed that I wanted to create my own elf character and came up with this piece.
I really lked the way her armor came out but wasn't to thrilled with her face. This year, while sitting in the Artists Alley at Sakura Con, I reinked her face using Manga Studio. Over the past few weeks, I worked on toning her in. I am pleased with the way Manga Studio does tone gradations in this piece.
All in all, I kinda like the way it came out. This picture was shrunk a bit so that has caused some scaling issues with the tones causing them to have a moire effect. Oh well...
