Here is a colored rendition of a panel from the "The Return"comic I did last year. I liked the picture of Stabby in the lower left panel of that comic and always wanted to color it in. I recently had the chance to do it. I had some inspiration on some backlighting and rim lighting from fellow Deviant artist Ionen .I have mixed feelings about the background. I think the blue highlights on the background look like worms! Oh well...

I always loved the armor in Lineage 2 for that... awesome protected chest/breast plate... and underwear!

I love the background, and i haven't consindered it as "warms". The color of the armor remindes me a lot the set Heavy Crusader (S grade). Also, the blades look more like Damaskus for me.

Yay for Stabby! I haven't been in L2 in a while. Although the Kamaels look nice. Although the one-winged angel, I keep on thinking of that FF-VII song. XD
Odd, they didn't look like samurai duals to me. At least from the shape of the blade and hilts.

No worries. I haven't played L2 since I tried it last year for the comic contest. Been having too much fun in WoW.

Excellent stuff! I had particularly loved that panel as well, actually. I'm absolutely loving the shading, gives off almost a brushed feel. And also, isn't Tallum heavy more dark green/black than brown? *stabbed*

It's more blackish than brown... at least from the reference pics I have. I colored an earlier version in which I made it brown and just stayed with that.
