More scraps, this time they are all MLP Related!

1. In redesigning the mane 6 I wanted to draw more expressive and animated poses, at least more animated than my usual static side standing pose, I wasn't have with the proportions here so tossed this sketch aside.

2-3. Talking about static side standing poses here are 2 ponified versions of 2 of my EXS!!! Yeah while I was with them I wanted to draw some cute couple art so went to ponify them. I dated 3 first and while he wasn't against me drawing mlp and even would have full on debates with me about the lore of the show and characters and character designs because he had 3 little sisters who watched the show> But he HATED when I would draw mlp art for him, I actually drew this for him but he expressed how while it was well drawn he did not care for the piece, so the design didn't get very far. Where as 2 was more open to the idea of me drawing him but never really talked with me about the show, that relationship didn't last as long as my relationship with 3. Also funnily enough, I based both of their color pallets on their favorite colors and while the colors are slightly different both of them had some version of green-blue, purple and reddish as their top 3 favorite colors.

4. I had wanted to finish this sooooooo long ago. I have 2 au's, one where Flurry Heart and Luster Dawn are siblings and one where they are dating. Since we don't know who Luster Dawn's parents are I thought about how we have only ever seen a color gradient in hair in 2 other ponies, Flurry Heart and Princess Cadence so maybe she is related to them. But because we don't know who her parents are there is also a chance that she is not related to them and since her and Flurry Heart would be roughly the same age in The Last Problem, I thought they would make a cute couple. Regardless this image was suppose to show how they weren't always on the best of terms but Flurry is trying to reach out and connect with Luster. In the siblings au, its because with Flurry being the first born and being born an alicorn, Luster had a lot to look up to and some big horse shoes to fill, so she had a lot of stress and weight cause indirectly by her older sister, straining their relationship. In the dating au, its because Luster is too much like Twilight at this age, she only cares about her studies and can't be bothered with trying to connect with others. She was supposed to be holding a book but I put off adding it to the sketch as they are hard to draw.

5. Twin brothers of Discord and Cosmos, the one standing up right was birthed by Cosmos, was raised on the moon and has the tail of a coral snake. The one standing on all fours was birthed by Discord, was raised among ponies and has the tail of a milk snake/ scarlet kingsnake. I do plan to make him a proper character sheet and draw him more but this was just an initial design to get it out of my head, had it done ages ago but never posted it, though I did show the design to a few people.

6-8. trying to draw spike is a pain in the A!!! So I tried to make simple versions of him over the years to show how his body changes, like the shape of his eyes. (I drew this well before we were reintroduced to him in g5)

9. When the first g5 movie came out and we saw that their hooves were basically backwards in order to make the hearts on their hooves obvious. I drew this to point out how stupid it was that they put their legs on backwards.

10. So I head-canon that Earth ponies are the tallest and most built of the 3 pony races, while unicorns are semi tall but slender and delicate looking. So of the mane 6, AJ is the tallest and she is built like a freaking brick house! Sooooooo one thought led to another and another and another dangerous thought. Cherry Jubilee would also be tall and when drawn as a human she and AJ would practically be amazons! But Cherry is a bit chubbier than AJ, she still has plenty of muscle so think someone who looks like a slightly thiccer version of Lady Dimitrescu, that's how I picture Cherry. Now what if Tender Hoof likes big tall muscle mommies and that's why he fell so head over heels for AJ, how would he react to the well endowed Cherry? >:3

11. I still kind of plan to finish this but wanted to share it atm. For those that don't know I have a childhood friend who I have basically adopted as a little brother. He and his partner just moved back to our state from Florida because its Florida and they are both trans guys who were no longer safe living in that state, and for a while they both lived with me and our parents. While they lived with us I got to get to know the partner better and he too likes mlp, he just likes it, only saw like the first 2 seasons but he likes it and thinks its cute. So I asked if I could draw them in mlp and they said sure, neither of them are really ponies but they fit perfectly into the Diamond dog and Abyssinian races, so my little brother became a brown tabby cat named Chase and his partner a newfoundland dog named Max. The two of them are very cute together and since Max has to use a walker or cane sometimes irl I thought I'd include that in his mlp-sona as well. These are some rough sketches of daily life for Chase and Max so that I could get a feel for their character designs.

12. This last one was just a warm up sketch I did one day but I thought it came out pretty good so I wanted to share it.
