Description Ionno man
I came up with the design for this dress in science class, and i really wanted to use it.... traditional kimono, and yet, not.
It's my oc nami, if you couldn't tell. I feel like my style is undergoing some drastic confusion right now, and i don't know if i like it or not.... we'll see.
This image was for february, whose theme was 'love my oc's'
and i'm just now submitting it It seems to be a pattern though, so i'm not too worried... it looks like i planned it this way. XD

hi, there, I'm here on behalf of because your piece was in the group's critique requested folder.

Despite the simple background, I really like the detail you have done on her clothes, very oriental in the patterns and the colors matches with each other and gives out some what spring feel. And the its also linked to the title Hanami, which let people straightly think of the cherry blossom in Japan.

like I have said, form what i see, the only flaw is the background.

Its my first time making a critique so, no offense. Juz here to help out ^^

Thanks so much, i really appreciate you taking the time to do this! and thanks, i'll keep that in mind! i do understand what you mean about the background, i kind of thought that myself.
it was supposed to look like a japanese folding screen, ya' know? XD i knew i didn't do it right, i should have used a reference image.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful critique, i really appreciate it!

Thanks for replying dear. I am glad that my advice is helpful. I would like make a additional advise if you don't mind. The folding screen is easy to understand but it is too simple. Simple background can also be effective when you add perspective in it, give it a little directional twitch and things will turn out different even though the overall picture is easy. ^^

Have fun drawing~~
