Description
In progress Snow Leopardess (is that even a word?) with Prismas. I don't work with traditional media often in my free time, but hey ^_^ This is fun. Decided to make her of a centaurian-build with two arms and four animalistic legs.Please also note that the blue isn't that blindingly bright in the original o_O Like.. that's INCREDIBLY blue in the scan.
Anyhow, I guess I just need some background suggestions and then I'll either colored pencil or watercolor the background depending on what I feel would look best.

If you're as talented with depth as with everything else, it could be quite neat if it was as though she's on a higher peak of a mountain and off in the back there's some kind of meadow. Maybe the further from the mountain it gets, the less wintery more spring it looks. ._.;; Wow... that would actually be quite alot, wouldn't it...?
Speaking of backgrounds, the one on my contest entry isn't happening... -_-;;

Heeeyyy that's a really awesome idea. I was thinking of finishing this drawing sometime this week with watercolors and such and that meadow idea ain't bad at all. Imight tamper with some random colour pattern, just so it's not so white in the back, but unless I paint it on canvas or something, it won't have a bg. Glad to hear that though -^^-

me thinking more snow covered mountains, but at sunrise/sunset... very colorific, tho muted to show her off than the background... just a thought.... she's pretty!!

Yeah, I was kinda thinking using contrasting colors like an orange (muted) to bring her out even more , but have the color dulled enough to not be distracting and take away from Artica herself. I'll mess around with a few possibilities on scrap paper.

Looks magnificent so far. I'm sure the final peice will be amazing. You are good with the pencils. Just practice more with them, you'll get even better.
