Finally colored this bugger. Guess it only took around 2~3 hours total to color. Commission. Looks like some tiger mutation gone wrong o_oDone in Prismacolor Colored Pencils. ... I don't work with colored pencils or traditional mediums much.... ;_;

Just art hopping. Found this. Pretty neat.
At first glance, I thought this was Red XIII... that was until I saw the 2 tails and the not-so-Red-XIII face up close. Still pretty cool. Hey, you know RPG Maker XP is out and about now, although its just a trial version for the moment. *whisper whisper* It'll probably be translated by the end of the year.

When i saw it,, it looked like RedXIII or Nanaki from Final Fantasy 7. Then again...mixed with Bohemoth from FF8.

They're professional grade colored pencils that are pricey ;_; Cost around $0.99~$1.15 each. I own over 100 of them >_< Takes a bit of an investment.

It looks fairly smooth on the paper, I just curse my scanner for making it nastified ;_; Scanner picks up a lot of the grainy texture of the pencils, but actual upfront, it looks all right ^^- I always hate scanning colored pencils

Ahhh, you are right about that.. But, it lets people see your stuff, so yayy. You could always cheat and "blend" it a little more in an image program

I just feel a bit shaky in my tradtional medium talents ;_; Plus really all I have at my disposal are colored pencils and markers. >_< once school starts up I'll be doing more in Independent Study art thing. Work with more paints since that's fun ^_^

I have no idea why, but at first glance I said "Tony the tiger!!" but... err.. its obviously not that! really cool creation though, Its like somthing you'd battle with in final Fantasy.

Woo I would love fighting these in Final Fantasy if they existed! Hehe I always loved fighting the other feline creatures in those games like Coeurls and Toramas and that sort of thing :3 If I had any knowledge int he 3D department of arts I think it would be fun to actually make a 3d sprite of this... all I'm limited to now is making maybe a cheesy 2d sprite for like an RPG Maker game XD Heheh I suck at pixel art though.
