The VF-338 is a multirole fighter built for fleet defense, interception, and especially, superorbital planetbombing. The craft can be found in its hundreds on several OSN fleet carriers, or a couple dozen on some of the OSN's biggest battleships. Often the craft scrambled in attempt on ship defense, it has become a high priority target by space goblins, rebel/secessionist/Varanus insurgencies, or even Nadren and Fall fleets.
