Description Note : this tutorial is outdated and I don't use this method anymore. However it might still be useful to someone.

So, yeah... Here's an english version, sorry for any errors and such, but I was really tired while translating this, and there's so much to translate! I will appreciate if you could notify my about those errors, so I can correct them. Hope you find this helpful.

I have a polish version of Gimp, but I hope everything is clear. If you don't understand something I'll be more than happy to explain, so don't be afraid to ask me. :3

This tutorial is great but on the light layer (soft light mode) it wont show the bits ive been drawing on that layer unless I change the mode to normal instead of soft light?

Just drag and drop the layer in the layer little menu thing.

And everything is written rather clearly I don't know how to explain it.

This helped me a lot, but how do you put a background when you have a saved image to colour? Apart form that I think I can cope!

I'm happy I could help.
The best way to do that is to open Your horse image in gimp (on transparent bg) and make another layer beneath the horse. You then colour the bg.

Oh I'm sorry, but I have no idea... I guess You'd have to download and install a certain language version.

It is indeed and I believe You can easily find it in the "Lines and such" folder. It's free to use as well as The Free Horse Creator based on that lineart. Thank You, I have improved a lot since that tutorial was made though... :3
