The season has begun: the season of kittens. The shelter has had its first taste of summer. Kittens are arriving in boxes and carriers, found in parks or left at the gate, alone or with siblings, healthy or sick.At least the ones that arrive here will be sure to find a good new home, one where they are wanted.

we got 3 kittens given to us to raise a few years ago, we had to bottle feed them, one of them (the only one that had a name when we got them, spot) died the 1st night, one of them lasted 8 days but he/she had some serious problems seeing as he/she turned blue before dying... and the other one is still with us... they were around 1 day old when we got them, we took Mia (the one that's still alive) and Flower to the vet the next day and they said they were about a day old!!

Aahh, is het kitten-seizoen bij jullie ook begonnen? Hier ook(ik was het meisje uit dat goese asiel weetje nog? dat je niet denkt, wie gaat er nu weer tegen me aanpraten.xD) maar bij ons is het ook bezig, ik vind het altijd zo lief!

Yes, I've seen it happen every year. But I'm still just as shocked every year. Unbelievable how irresponsible people can be.

Yeah, I don't understand how people can look at thosel ittle faces, and know that they're leaving them to die..
My cousin and Aunt work at a vet, and people are constantly leaving boxes of kittens on the doorstep. And it's usually kittens who haven't even opened their eyes yet. It's just so sad.
