originally a black and white gift sketch for for an event I had on my journal.
but then I colored it and... ruined it.
speed color, 1 hour; the working canvas was HUGE. had to shrink to upload.

I-i happen to actually enjoy the coloring. It gives a rough feel to it that I think is appropriate for a battle scene, and makes it more... idk, epic.
But that's just me /hides

I was afraid the coloring detracted the pokemon's emphasis in the picture! ;__; hope that didn't happen...! it was my first time trying to color something in a colder, darker color scheme. (I showed my friend this ridiculously saturated version and she pretended she lost her eyeballs LOL OTL)
the original size is HUGE, but since the internet isn't safe with my uploading huge pictures I must shrink it

I wonder what move Pidgeot is doing... I was thinking about making the image darker and colder but I wonder if I achieved that effect, or whether I screwed it up by detracting the details from the actual pokemon themselves
