Think I noted this before, but it was the semi-canon and fan theories that really got me headfirst into the lion king fandom. TLK isn't even close to being one of my favourite disney franchises (winnie the pooh still holds the reigning champion for that lmao), but the worlds and characters people have created just based off of some rare books that came out after the movie are so fascinating!
Uru and Ahadi are a particularly interesting point, as the amount of variations of them around the internet are so diverse and creative. You got stories were their relationship is consistently turmoil and quasi-abusive, ones they're lovey dovey birds, ones where forced marriage leaves them as friends but not truly lovers - and I jumped into the lovey dovey train.

Admittedly they started off a lil rocky, as arranged marriage can sometime go - Uru in particular was put off by Ahadi's standoffish nature, to the point where before they were married her affections were placed on someone else.
They definitely got better, as she learned that Ahadi was a big ol teddy bear (just a very quiet one), who just gets a mite embarrassed by PDA.
