Story of the Character

David is the son/clone of the legendary Solid Snake. Though tons out there believe this to be just a false rumor, due to it being once said that Snake had never had any relationships with any woman, & was impossible to clone or pass on any genes.

But until the 30th century, it was made possible to clean out Snake's last blood sample (taken by Naomi, & was later found years after her death) & clone it out. However, to 'clone' Snake, it was required the use of a surrogate mother. The same way it was done to clone Big Boss.

After his birth, David (as his surrogate mother named him before being taken away) was then used to recreate the once legendary hero, only this time, he would be part machine. At the age of 17, he had been strange having images of war, Snake (his father), & many other stuff appear in his head. Wanting answers, he managed to escape his chamber (thanks to his half bionic body), & search for answers.

He learned tons about his father, whom he'll never have a chance to meet in person, but he had not known anything about his mother. Searching the building, he came to a lonely, dark cell. There, he found his mother, slowly dying. He held her in his arms, & she smiled at him. David's mother handed him her necklace, & then died in his arms.

Enraged, he destroyed the entire laboratory/building. But many of the scientists who created him escaped.

About the Character

David is a solitary, dark, & quiet person. He prefers to be alone, but doesn't mind the company of some friends. Though he is short tempered & moody, especially when people around him stare & rumor about his origins. He enjoys soccer, rugby, & tennis, watching movies, listening to movies, & taking strolls down the park.

Although he almost resembles his father in many ways, he prefers to be referred to as as son, rather than a clone. His brain was programmed with every language & fighting style possible, & has an IQ higher than his dad's (210). His most prized possession is the necklace his surrogate mother gave him, & her ashes. There are days where David can be caught wearing a bandanna, giving him an almost identical appereance to Solid Snake. The only difference between David & his dad (also named David), is that David (son) has caramel colored eyes.

Currently, he lives with his adoptive mother, Renesmee [link] & adoptive brother Milo [link] .

About the Drawing

Ok before I say anything more, don't complain/baww to me about his story. Yes, I made this guy the son of Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid. I wanted to do this. I'll be asking Hideo Kojima (after I start working on my project that is) himself if I can use the back story of this character for my series. If he doesn't want me to, the Ill just use the backup one I have.

Anyways, this guy right here has been giving me hardcore trouble designing him. I finally chose a pose for him, & his clothing. The only problem I was having with him was his hair. I wanted him t look as similar to Snake as possible, but I just wasn't feeling the semi-long hair, so I just cut it short, & left a few long strands on his forehead.

He's 18 BTW
