I think it's worked really well - and glad it is only a picture! I'm not sure what saliva looks like with blood mixed in but this is as good an interpretation as any. Perhaps a bit more 'stringy'?

That is an understatement! It is not the normal vamp work that shows up in DA. this is visceral, real...the movement, the light...its amazing! I wish there was more vampire work like this!

Superbe cadrage ! Très bel éclairage qui suggère plutôt que de montrer. Très bel effet de 'sub surface scattering'. Cette image est très crédible et très effrayante. Une magnifique réalisation !
