This is a lovely portrait. The composition is lovely and your little girl is just beautiful! The expression on her face is fab and not one I've seen much in portraits of babies that age

the use of negative space here is wonderful...where did you shoot this? it's also a wonderful moment--mothers bonding with their children like this is just so precious. and i have to agree with mary--her face is so...i don't know...developed? she seems so attentive, beyond her days (weeks?). it's wonderful.

Living room curtain. Got them at Sears. They are a velour. Awesome for photographs! Now I just really really need to get a shutter release cable thing so that I can stop with the self timer and running in front of the camera, and getting my images blurred

no kidding. thanks for the tip on the curtains--they sure are an incredible background. did you get them just as a backdrop, or are they actually hanging in the house?

I bought them to block the light in our living room so that we can watch TV in the day... and then I realized that they make a perfect backdrop

dual purpose--even better. it IS quite annoying when the sun is so bright you can't see what's on the screen. a really nice find, then.

love the use of the negative space here and the horizontal composition very much i also think Lilliana has a lot of distinction already in her face!

thanks. There would be more if the others didn't come out blurry. Self timer is hard to do on a black background
