thanks! my trick is to imagine a frame around the scene you want to sketch and just sketch what's in front of you (inside that imaginary frame), ruler is unnecessary. Or, take a photo of it and sketch it later at home

for imaginary land/cityscapes.. just sketch base on your imaginations or a combination of a few reference photos and imaginations.

Thank you!!! IT helps a lot. It goes to show that I need a lot of practice in order to draw land/cityscapes by imaginations. It would be awesome if I could draw landscapes like you.
