Perspective is an art tribulation that you handle beautifully!
I don't know the series that inspired this picture but I really like the emotional weight of this image. The way the girl is seated and the tears she sheds, to the blood strewn about and the shielded boy behind her. The chains and the trapped feelings they give--this is fantastic! Amazing work.
