Nobody knew why he had come...What about the dusty little western town had drawn him there...
Who he was...
Where he had come from...
All the Cowboy knew, was that the day the Ninja came to town...
nothing...
would be...
the same.
who will be victorious? the gods only know...
A rather odd pretense for what i can promise will be a very odd mini-comic. I've wanted to do a campy, cliched theme like this for a while, ala the spaghetti western style, or classic ninja movies.
much inspiration from the talented (and all all-around nice guy ) ~ deaddays
a note: while coloring this i did some homework... i have since learned that no self-respecting ninja would run around in bare feet like that. they'd wear tabi boots, or better.
my sincere appoligies to all the ninjas out there.

hmmm historicly speaking.... they both will die. cause if the ninja killed the cowboy, all the people in the town would hang the ninja. for some reason folks out west didnt like asians, orientals and what not. was worse than whites against blacks almost.

Incidently, I actually saw this happen one time. And I'll tell you this: Cowboy vs. Ninja is all about range. I mean, hey, ninjas are fast.. but not... y'know.. Matrix fast.

this is some fine artwork, koosh-llama a lot of talent and effort put into this... the subtle sunshine effects came out very well... and the style of your design is.. overwhelming, as always. love it.

response to ~jaxspider there : actually, the prefered color of a ninja's shinobi was not always black. depending on the mission, a ninja might wear white, or even camoflage print outfits. so it is not entirely unfitting for a ninja, traveling to the old west to wear a brown (at least, i was going for faded black ) shinobi.

Typical filter lens-flares, when added randomly, are a crutch. But this 'un's homemade, and looks real, mon. I gotta learn how to make those. (and I lurve the cel-style shading, especially on the ninja's clothing)
