My entry for the Scene Contest of Felidae's group ^^
A pretty point in the Fifth Novel "Salve Roma", now avaible in English is when Francis discover the homosexuality of his new friend Antonio, it's quiet a fun, serious and reflexive scene at the same time.
I tried to put the expression as in the book and the dialogue is not changed but a bit shortened in some points (even if probably the new english translation will be better then my own XD)
It's interesting how Francis had sudden disappointment/repulsion and then ..... well. i can't tell more or it will be spoiler XD

Indeed I am a quite an avid reader of animal literature and I THINK that he's the only openly homosexual character I found xD
I mean... there are doubts for a couple of characters in the very-famous series Warriors, but nothing of explicit.
Have to say however that in the fifth book of Felidae, the character is quite... uh.. sad? I mean it should be a bit spoiler xD And sadly it was removed from amazon, but there is a way it could be available online maybe again.

Sorry, there is NOT a gay mating scene.
But the character tell at flashback scene that he was found once mating with another male xD (can't remember the male's description).
What about Violet and Khaldun? x3 Or better.... Khaldun and the daughter x3

Kooskia is right, there are several felidae books.
You can read in english the first two (Felidae and Felidae on the road) and the fifth (Salve Roma)

Acutally there are Seven published books and an Eight that have to be published this autumn x3 All in German language except the first two (the second is named Francis on the Road, but it's the most sad according me <-<) but recently also this Fifth book is translated in english sadly only in Kindle edition v.v
