Moveset:

Roar - The foe is scared off and switched if the target is a lower level than the user. Against a single Pokémon, the battle might end.
Play Rough - The user plays rough with the foe and attacks it. This has a chance to lower the foe’s ATTACK.
Scary Face - The user frightens the foe with a scary face. This sharply reduces the foe's SPEED.
Payback - This move will double in power if used after being attacked by a foe.


Appearance: Zedd is a melanistic Granbull, meaning she has sleek black fur instead of the more common pink. Her tail is a bit long and thin.


Personality:

  • Zedd takes care to listen to others, but if she wants to keep a conversation going, she'll be happy to talk your ear off about how life been going. She's usually in a calm and pleasant state of mind when she's working for the guild, as she feels safe among their ranks compared to how vulnerable and isolating it was with her old crew.
  • When upset or hurt, she'll deflect from what the real issue is; she tries not to direct her anger at others if she can help it, as she doesn't want more attention than necessary.
  • Zedd can improvise, lie, and make things up on the spot to go along with a joke, scheme, or bit. She was a pirate, so lying and fibbing is something that is second-nature to her. She uses this power for good, whenever possible; according to her, lying is often necessary to protect others.
  • She is naturally curious and likes to question others about their motivations and ideas, but she still understands that some secrets are better left to their owners; she has her own, after all.

Item(s):

- A sash adorned with the Empathy Disciple Mark. Zedd often tucks snacks in this sash to eat while working.


History: After quitting her previous life as an outlaw pirate from the Wayfayers who wanted nothing more to do with her, Zedd decides to try her luck working for the Trader's Guild. She smudged the details on what she was doing before joining the Guild, saying she was "the muscle and support for a cargo ship that moved supplies across several different locations around Fairfort". This was a white-lie, omitting the part about working with thieving pirates. Zedd had planned to keep a low-profile, just happily working for the Guild without a goal or dream in mind other than to survive to the next day... until she has an oddball of a new roommate, Glenn. The strange fluffy Pokémon talks about fashion, clothes, the possibilities of starting a new life selling his own goods instead of the goods of others with her. Zedd decides it might be nice to have a dream to look forward to, even if it isn't exactly her own. (More history will be written as time passes...)

Faction Opinons / Relationships:

Zedd's opinions and relationships are subject to change as her story moves along.


Lexin Wayfayers: In general, Zedd does not hate the Wayfayers; she is aware that not every Pokémon under their name is a bad one- but she is still wary. She feels that any Wayfayer could have a connection to her old pirate crew, and worries about what could happen if they find her. She tends to try and avoid any interactions or confrontations with them if possible.


Blue-Spirit Outlaws: Whenever Zedd realizes an outlaw is a Blue-Spirit instead of a Wayfayer, she sighs a breath of relief. For the most part, they have a slightly less-worse reputation and less aggressively loyal connections than the Wayfayers. Zedd looks the other way if she happens to see them doing something naughty, but if it messes with her work, she'll have to put on a scary face.


Emerald Enforcers: Zedd believes a lot of the Emerald Enforcers are just dangerous brutes working under that name in order fight and brawl outlaws, using loyalty as an excuse; she tries to keep an open mind when she meets a member of the Emerald Enforcers she hasn't met yet. She tends to avoid them along with the Wayfayers, as she worries if any of them would recognize her from her past as an outlaw.


Trade Guild: She used to steal from these guys all the time. Now-a-days, Zedd feels safe among the Trader's Guild, but worries about the possibility of the Guild figuring out she wasn't completely honest with them. In order to avoid possible consequences for her past occupation, she works hard to be loyal and busy for them. Zedd believes if she tries hard enough this time, maybe she won't be rid of like with her old crew from the Wayfayers.


Glenn: Glenn doesn't seem like the smuggling type to Zedd, but he still likes to talk about his previous escapades in length, as if they were games instead of a long list of crimes that caused him to work for the Guild. She thinks Glenn is funny, and likes keeping him around for his insightful advice and bounce-back attitude. She trusted Glenn with the secret that she was an outlaw once, and he has kept his word. Zedd feels like she can relate to him in a way, as she was an outlaw beforehand. They aren't on a team together, but they often work together under the guild. Zedd sees Glenn as a good friend she can trust.


Sonore: Zedd doesn't know very much about her own team-mate, aside from his surly nature and the confidence that he carries himself with- along with the hammer he also carries. She is impressed by the magic he can do, and witnessed first-hand just how powerful it can be. Zedd looks up to him, in a way. She wants to be a reliable teammate.


Trivia:

- She will eat things off of the floor when nobody is looking. If caught, Zedd will claim that it's either "to make her immune system stronger" or "it is shameful to waste food".

- She often gives away more free samples than what is suggested by the Trade Guild. She does not like to see others in need, as she has been there before.

- Zedd prefers not to ride on boats anymore, if possible.
