So I was playing this Japanese exclusive PS2 game called Dragon Quest Characters: Torneko no Daibōken 3 (ドラゴンクエストキャラクターズトルネコの大冒険3 不思議のダンジョン) which is a mystery dungeon game and a spin off to the Dragon Quest series. The game was developed by Matrix Software and Chunsoft before being merged with Spike and it was published by Enix before being merged with Square, the game was released on October 31, 2001. So I had this idea were Sparks from SuperKitties and Koppa from Shiren the Wanderer meeting Torneko from Dragon Quest, mostly because I think it would be really interesting seeing Sparks and Koppa meeting Torneko.
