I had a sort of revelation when viewing this. I immediately thought of the reapers upon my first glance and it came to me: What if the reapers were an organic race themselves harvested by the catalyst and used for the reaping! amazing artwork and a thought provoking details. Keep it up.

maybe they're not actually flying. I mean look most of their tentacles are concentrated on the ground so maybe a part of them is flying.

I love the design of the creatures. Also, the image suggests some kind of post-apocalyptic story. Is this the earth? I assume it is, and that these creatures have caused it to reach this state.

If the title is any indication, then the movie was "Them". it was about giant ants, movie is old enough to be black and white.
