Awwwww, gawd Kaerumi is definitely my OTP for this game, I love both of them so much, and even though I wasn't the biggest fan of Miu, Maki, or Tsumugi this entire picture makes me smile, it's so cute.

i understand how you can feel tht way towards those characters - honestly im not a big maki fan either!
but ive read a lot of good analysis/meta on her character which made me appreciate her more. not just her but other characters too!
lots of characters didnt get the best writing (im looking at my number one fave mostly, korekiyo) so i like to focus more on the parts i do like ahaha--
i like knowing other ppls opinions on the cast/game! its very interesting

Oh yeah, I totally get what you mean with the writing thing. I wasnt the biggest fan of Maki and didnt really get too invested in her, especially when she came off as having immunity in the killing game from a writing standpoint, if that makes sense.
My friends all think I'm weird for liking Kiyo. But I TOTALLY GET his whole "humanity is beautiful" belief. And his musings that "a person's nature when they're completely backed into a corner, and the dark, raw true nature comes out is a beautiful sight to behold" in a way, it's completely true, especially to someone of his profession.
I wish they handled Kirumi better, to be honest. And I admit I'm kinda bitter tbat it seems everybody only focuses on that aspect of her, rather than even making her slightly nice! D:

i suggest reading the anthology comics if you havent, theyre full of great content!
lots of ppl miss out on them which means they miss out on character development.
even if they dont take place in canon, i love seeing a different pov

There's something special about Kaede, you can somehow ship her with a lot of her classmates and it somehow ends up cute
(Especially with a a lot of the female girls... probably might lowkey ship her with her with these four girls
